Hannah Alexander

Hannah Alexander is the name by which the author couple Cheryl and Mel Hodde are known. When they met, Cheryl had already published several magazine articles, while Mel had just taken on his new position as head of the casualties department of the local hospital. They married eighteen months later. Shortly thereafter they started working together on a new novel, Sacred trust, which was set in a hospital.

After it was published, they wrote another five novels with the casualty department of a fictitional country hospital in the Ozark region as background. Hideaway, the original English version of the romantic thriller translated into Afrikaans as Alleenvlug, was awarded the Christy Award in 2004. They live in the Ozark region of Missouri, USA.
